What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Dr. Evette Rose is a holistic counsellor, an internationally distinguished speaker, and author of 21 books, with a prolific background, who has established herself as a prominent figure in personal development. She is best known for her notable work, Metaphysical Anatomy Volume 1, Psychosomatics of Adults (foreword by Dr. Parviz Rashvand, ND. Ph.D.), a substantial 800-page book that meticulously explores 722 medical conditions, unraveling the psychosomatic messages (emotions impacting these medical conditions) intricately linked with each ailment. Her book has resonated globally, extending its impact across 80 countries. Used by medical professionals and anyone interested in learning more about hidden messages stuck in their body.

Evette's contributions extend to 'Psychosomatics of Children Volume 3,' a comprehensive 700-page publication dissecting 400 medical conditions, elucidating their psychosomatic messages, and providing key insights for exploration. Her work's extensive reach spans hospitals, universities, colleges, psychologists, and alternative therapists, serving as a valuable resource for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of emotional and physical pain and ailments.

When she commenced her work as a therapist, led self-help seminars, and became a holistic counselor, she began teaching therapeutic tools for trauma recovery in body and mind in 43 countries. Throughout her experience, she couldn't help but notice similar emotional triggers, patterns, and complaints among clients who shared the same diseases, regardless of their background and culture.

After documenting her cases, she realized the body was attempting to communicate with us. While some perceived an ailment as a problem, Evette discerned the body’s effort to speak and express itself as undergoing stress. What causes stress? Our environment certainly does. However, Evette began to connect the power of our emotions with diseases. Metaphysical Anatomy has evolved into a leading reference book supporting hospitals, universities, colleges, psychologists, and alternative therapists. It is a valuable resource for individuals seeking a deeper understanding of emotional and physical pain and ailments." "The Pain Puzzle" is an elaborated extension of Evette’s current work and research of Metaphysical Anatomy Volume 1 and her experience assisting her students and clients who suffer from pain and emotional trauma.

Excerpt from the Book
After working with thousands of people, one of the most profound realizations that pain is a powerful, universal language. Pain is perhaps one of the most universally shared human experiences—transcending culture, background, and belief. It can be brief and fleeting, causing a momentary disturbance before life turns to its rhythm. Yet pain, always uninvited and often uprooted, can alter the color of our world in ways we never anticipated. We experience pain through various emotions-physical, mental, and emotional. We feel the experience, think about it, and then form opinions about it.

When we lose someone we love, that grief can manifest in different ways. For some, it is incredibly numbing; for others, it feels like a knife piercing the heart. In my late 20s, I experienced a loss so profound that I felt a sharp physical pain in my heart—unlike anything I had ever known, it was emotional stress that transformed into real, tangible pain. I was diagnosed with “Broken Heart Syndrome,” also known as stress-induced cardiomyopathy.

That experience changed my relationship with emotions and pain. Previously, I had taken their power over the mind and body for granted. When you find yourself on the cusp of death-negotiating with God for your life, unsure if this will be your final moment—and realize that a single emotion nearly cost you everything, you can never look at emotions the same way again.
